As part of an environmental development project in cooperation with albinfo.ch, four Swiss city planning experts have planned a trip to Kosova (3 to 6 September). Among various activities, they like to have two meetings with the two municipalities of Kosova, therefore we selected Junik Municipality.
This group is composed of:
Two-architects, Guillaume Morsier and Valentin Kunik, manager of architecture bureau, Kunik de Morsier Architecte, and experts in building energy and environment (authors of a comparative study between buildings in Switzerland and Kosova in the area of residence),
– A senior professor at the University of Fribourg (Thierry Ursenbacher)
– As well as a Master student (Nolan Stauffer), (Master of Sicence HES-SO in Engineering) at this university.
The purpose of this trip?
Study and development of a project, which would favor the thermal insulation of buildings (houses or public buildings) in the renovation or construction. Therefore, this group of experts provides to meet different local stakeholders, who may be willing or interested to renovate / build houses or public buildings in order to reduce energy costs (such as heating), improving comfort and to encourage ecological projects in Kosova.
Ideally, during the meeting in the Municipality of Junik should be present stakeholders who have political and social approach in town, as well as potential stakeholders who might be interested in this project. Also, very welcome are professionals with knowledge of the legal framework for such projects. Swiss experts will introduce to you their project, which could become the subject of a study that would allow cooperation with the natives in favor of the construction / renovation of various facilities.
This project aims to collect and hire architects, builders, building contractors, responsible associations or microcredit banks, Junik residents, etc..
In which case architects will present their concept (15 minutes), which is very economical and also the analysis tools, intended objectives, economic benefits of the project and its very simple and handy implementation.
This meeting with the Junik Municipality stakeholders is a step that will enable the development of cooperation between Swiss entrepreneurs with those of Kosova, between institutions in Switzerland and Junik municipal institutions, in order to enhance environmental quality and the economic development.

Dear citizens of Junik.
You are invited to attend a lecture which will be held in the assembly hall of the Municipality of Junik , at 10 am on 05.9.2014 (Friday), and which will held by a group of Swiss experts.
The lecture deals with the field of construction of buildings either individual or collective, namely the part of thermal insulation, it is an important part as to significantly reduce the price of using as it is.
Invited to attend all concerned and especially engineers, builders and other stakeholders in this field.
