Documentation needed for application:
§ Completed application form;
§ A copy of the ID of the Republic of Kosova;
§ Confirmation from the bank of the bank account of the applicant;
§ A copy of the business registration certificate for legal persons;
§ Evidence from the cadaster for arable land area owned (possession);
§ Contract for area rented by the landlord attached possession;
§ Evidence of payment of property taxes;
§ Evidence on the category of seed sown to wheat seeds (only farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed);
§ Contract seed production company (only farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed);
§ Form for planted area for wheat seeds (verified by MAFRD, only farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed);
§ Report of the Inspectorate phytosanitary field inspections I and II (only farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed);
§ Proof of submitting quantity of wheat seed for the production company (documentation attached after the grain harvest and applies only to farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed).
Period of Application:
Application lasts 45 calendar days and begins from the moment of the call for applications.
Application is made to the offices of the Municipal Departments of Agriculture through the sLPIS program.
Method of Application:
All farmers initially, during the application are required to complete the form for registration in the Register of farmers, which is a prerequisite for gaining support.
• During the control procedure, in case of finding violations will apply punitive measures, based on Administrative Instruction Nr.02/2014 by MAFRD for Direct Payments in Agriculture for 2014.
Clarification:
• Documentation for the application should be submitted in duplicate and within the application period. Submission of documents after the published deadline will not be accepted for review.
• Beneficiary farmers direct payments for wheat seed will be paid only for certain areas of grain received and submitted testimony on the amount of wheat seed based on the average yield of wheat for the current year.
Direct Payment for agricultural crops (wheat, corn, sunflower seed and wheat) for 2014.
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development this year will continue to support the grain sector, through direct payments per unit of area planted with wheat, seed for wheat, soyabeans and sunflower. The level of support will be:
• Direct Payment – Wheat: € 125 / ha
• Direct Payment – Wheat Seed: € 225 / ha
• Direct Payment – Corn: 100 € / ha
• Direct Payment – Sunflower: 100 € / ha
Farmers who apply must meet the following conditions:
• Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kosova;
• Have at least 2 hectares planted with corn land;
• Have at least 1 ha planted with corn-owned land;
• Have at least 1 ha planted with sunflower owned land;
• Have a minimum of 5 hectares planted and maximum 100 ha of wheat for wheat seed production;
• Plots planted with wheat, corn or sunflower, should be a minimum of 0.20 ha inseparable parcel;
• parcel planted with corn for seed production of wheat, should be a minimum of 1 ha parcel;
• Wheat planted seeds should be in the Allowed Seed List (only for farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed);
• The area of land leased, should be contracted for at least one year;
• The area of land leased shall be 1 ha parcel;
• Area planted with wheat for all criteria must be met during field inspections (only farmers applying for direct payments for wheat seed)
