U.S. Deputy Ambassador to Kosova together with Mayor Kuçi, first visited the Center for Citizens’ Services in the Municipality, which is at the same time a donation of American USAID and later visited the Municipal Library "Mehmeti Din", in which case Ms. Kelly Degnan, to this Library for its readers has donated close to 500 titles of books and two computers. Mayor Kuçi said that the donation of books for the library and our Municipality has a value of great importance, given that the books directly affect the education and knowledge of our youth, therefore, I greatly appreciate the donation of books and two computers, believing that the same cooperation will continue in the future.
U.S. Deputy Ambassador in Kosova, Mrs. Kelly Degnan said that she felt extremly well and very privileged that today she visited the Municipality of Junik and closely saw many achievements of this Municipality. She congratulated Mayor Kuçi for work done and promised that she will continue to further support and cooperate with our Municipality.
Mayor Kuçi has notified Mrs. Kelly Degnan with numerous achievements in all sectors of the Municipality despite the limited budget, for projects that are in the implementation phase, the ideas, projects and plans for economic development of Junik, development of Tourism and Agriculture, and the challenges facing the Municipality of Junik.
Later, Mayor Mr. Agron Kuçi and the U.S. Deputy Ambassador in Kosova, Mrs. Kelly Degnan visited Moronica Natural Park, Erenik River Basin and the Regional Tourism Center. Today Junik was visited by the Deputy Ambassador of the United States in Kosova, Ms. Kelly Degnan, accompanied by some of her staff, such as: Jeffrey Jamison – Officer of the Office of Public Relations and Besnik Kokollari – Information Resource Center Assistant. She was hosted by the Mayor of Junik Mr. Agron Kuçi and his staff.
