On 17.02.2010 in the Municipality of Junik was marked two of Kosova’s independence anniversary with various activities Cultural and Sport Directorate for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports. At 10: 00 are made homage to the martyrs in Junik monolith, at 11:00 Mayor of Junik Mr. Agron Kuqi has made competition of ”running the Independence of Kosova” in the center of Junik where many athletes participated from Kosova and Albania in these disciplines:
