Present at the meeting were Mayor, Mr. Agron Kuçi and his staff, a significant number of citizens and non-governmental organizations. Mayor, Mr. Agron Kuçi, before participants presented the so far achievements of the municipality projects which are under implementation and projects which municipality plans to realize over the next year. Mr. Kuçi, also spoke about the development of Tourism that is a current priority for the government. He said that with the development of tourism, Junik will become a center of attraction, not only for Junik citizens, but for all citizens of Kosova.
Budget and Finance Director Mr. Avdyl Gjota presented the municipal budget for 2014. He said that the government for the next year has allocated 1,180,059 euros to the municipality of Junik.
General Grant: 658,319.00 Euros
Grant for Education: 387,085.00 Euros
Grant for Health: 134,655.00 Euros
Own Source Revenue: 89,250.00 euros.
Total municipal budget for 2014 will be 1,269,309 euros.
It is worth mentioning that the coming year compared to this year, it is foreseen that there will be an increase of the own source revenues.
The participants thanked the chief of the Municipality Mr. Agron Kuçi and his staff for the many achievements of the municipality, which have significantly improved the lives of citizens.

According to the Law on Budget and Finance of the Republic of Kosova, Department of Budget and Finance in the municipality has organized the first public hearing for the Municipal Budget for 2014-2016, with Junik citizens, where was presented Medium Term Budget Framework.
