It is the first time that the land in our municipality will have an official value.
The Ministry of Finance, with the support of Sweden has undertaken a project for the assessment of all land in Kosova.
We would like to invite you to see in this exhibition in our municipality, you can see the result of the preliminary assessment and how it is done. You will also find the preliminary value of your land, how your parcel is categorized, and a lot of other information. To provide clarifications regarding the assessment and classification of land in our municipality, on the first day present will also be the Swedish and Ministry of Finance – Department of Property Tax experts.
You will not only be notified about the value of your parcel, but you are also invited to give your comments / observations about the preliminary results of the assessment, and if your comments are substantiated they will affect the change of the final assessment.
In addition, one of the reasons for land valuation is that the land will be taxed in the future. This will enable your municipality to make more investments in improving your everydays’ life, your family, and your community.
The first day’s exhibition will be held at the Municipal Assembly Hall in Junik, while throughout the month the exhibition will be open at the Property Tax Office.
