Administrative Instruction No. 06/11, Article 4, states: Categories of taxpayers who enjoy the right to request postponement of payment of property tax are:
1. Taxpayers who are Social Welfare cases and,
2. Taxpayers who apply for deferment of payment of Property Tax do to hardship and that are not involved in Social Welfare.
The evidence must be attached to your application is:
1. A copy of the identity document as beneficiaries of Social Assistance issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW);
2. A copy the identity document of the taxpayer or his representatives equipped with special authorization;
3. Special authorization, in cases where the applicant is represented by a third person;
4. Other documents that prove economic hardship of the taxpayer.
Deadline for submitting your application to the Office of Property Tax is 30 days after the distribution of tax bills.
