Mr. Kuçi has indicated that he has addressed several times the Central Institutions regarding budgetary allocation, seeking to reconsider again the Junik Municipality budget, but so far has received no response. Comparing other municipalities with our municipality, it appears that they have four times larger budget despite having fewer inhabitants.
Therefore, if the Government of the Republic of Kosova does not take action to change the budget, I am compelled to go out with citizens in protest to the Government to seek more means and equal treatment with other municipalities. Today, the Mayor of Junik Municipality, Mr. Agron Kuçi, in a press conference expressed his concerns and grievances of citizens of Junik regarding budget allocation for year 2016 for the Municipality of Junik, made by the Government of the Republic of Kosova. He said that by this division Junik Municipality is discriminated especially for capital investments. Allocation of 77 thousand euros for capital investments shows clearly that it will severely damage the lives of citizens of this municipality.
