Dear family members of the nations fallen martyr’s, veterans and invalids of the KLA War, honorable Krasniqi family, representative institutions at all levels, the respected media, fellow citizens of Junik, ladies and gentlemen, honored guests! We are gathered here today to remember and honor with a high piety the life and act of the Nation’s Martyr, Avdi Ibish Krasniqi, the indomitable patriot and insurgent, which OZNA had as a thorn in the eye for several years. So, unable to make him obedient of the regime, they imprisoned and killed him by inhumane tortures in Serbo-Slavic prisons in Peja. Same fate suffered other patriots and Junik nationalists such as: Mehmet Tahir Isufaj, Haxhi Ali Miftari, Halit Zeqë Krasniqi, Islam Ahmet Fetaj and Qerim Fetah Gaxherri and many arrests and other tortures for Junik men. These events did not scare the Junik population nor break the nationalist sentiment, but rather more increased, the patriotism and demand for freedom and national liberation. Fellow citizens and distinguished guests, today Junik is dressed with heroism of Avdi Ibish Krasniqi and fellowpatriots of time, so we should be proud of him.
Avdi Krasniqi is shaped by traditions of pure Junik citizen’s patriotism, cultivated through chambers of men and heroism of their nationalist fathers, for the sole purpose, the freedom and liberation of his homeland.
Today, we with honor and respect commemorate and honor the great deed and glory of our fellow citizen, the prominent patriot of national issue, Avdi Krasniqi, being humbled before the great honor that he made for Junik and his nation.
Therefore distinguished guests, honored fellow citizens allow me as a representative of our local institutions, to express our feelings and highest respect for this national figure.
On behalf of the Municipality of Junik, I want to express our highest consideration for this noble and patriotic man, this martyr of freedom who alongside many other Junik fellow citizenss, today has become a cornerstone of Kosova’s freedom.

Also today, in the Cemetery of QOKË is made the discovery of Memorial Plaque of Avdi Ibish Krasniqi – Martyr of the Nation.
Under the auspices of the Junik Municipality Mayor, Mr. Agron Kuçi, today is held memorial academy for the nation’s martyr, Avdi Ibish Krasniqi. This academy was attended by a large number of people.
