Mayor of Junik Municipality Mr. Agron Kuçi unfolded before the Deputy Minister a project of a cultural facility which is ready in details and has a design that intertwines with the environment of Junik towers.
Deputy Minister Hoti vowed that will also support this project and soon expected to sign a memorandum together with the municipality to finance the project with the specific cultural and architectural character.
Mayor of Junik Municipality Mr. Agron Kuçi thanked the Deputy Minister Hoti, who among other things emphasized that Junik has given a lot for the history and national cultural heritage and deserves a special institutional support.
Municipality’s Mayor and Deputy Minister Hoti visited important facilities, such as; Municipal Library, "Moronica" Park, Natural Amphitheatre, Regional Tourism Center and the mother of the fallen hero, Major General Edmond Hoxha. Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Mr. Rexhep Hoti visited Junik Municipality being hosted by the head of the municipality Mr. Agron Kuçi. His visit was in support of the Municipality of Junik by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, especially in the fields of cultural heritage, in the restoration of the towers and other buildings as "Valavica" where Deputy Minister Mr. Hoti expressed his willingness on behalf of the Ministry to assist in the restoration of "Valavica", the only kind in the region. This building itself has three different eras functions: water mill, water sawmill and water processing of wool.
