Farmers who apply must meet the following criteria:
– Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kosova;
– Have a minimum of 5 dairy cows and buffaloes or total 5 dairy cows and buffaloes together and maximum 50 heads in active milk production;
– Have a minimum of 30 and maximum 500 sheep in active milk production;
– Have a minimum of 20 and maximum 500 goats in active milk production;
– Have a minimum of 30 and maximum of 500 collective bees (beehives)
– Have a minimum of two breeding sows
Necessary documentation for application:
• Copy of the Identity Card of the Republic of Kosova;
• Confirmation from the bank for the bank account of the applicant;
• The Registry issued by veterinary practices contracted by the FVA, based on the data system Identification & Registration of animals in FVA, dairy cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats and breeding sows.
• Evidence that is registered in the farm registry;
• Proof of payment of property tax;
• Copy of certificate for organic honey production. The certificate must be issued by certification bodies.
• Farmers certified for organic honey production, a copy of the certificate must be attached to the documentation no further than 10 days from the date of certification.
Period of application:
Application lasts 30 days and begins from the moment of the announcement of the call for applications.
Application should be made at the offices of the Municipal Departments for Agriculture.
Method of application:
All farmers initially, during the application are required to complete the form for registration in the Registry of farmers, which is a prerequisite for gaining support.
• During the control procedure, in case of finding violations will apply punitive measures, based on the Administrative Instruction of MAFRD Nr.02/2014 for Direct Payments in Agriculture for 2014.
Clarification:
• Documentation for the application should be submitted in duplicate and within the application period. Submission of documents after the published deadline will not be accepted for review.
• Certified beekeeper farmers for organic honey production are subsidized in the amount of 15 euros / collective bees (beehives).
The registry of animals, farmers can receive from the FVA authorized stations under the following table:
– Animals must be matriculated with Republic of Kosova or with member countries of the EU;
– Beekeepers may have placed the collective bees (hives) at most three (3) bee locations;
– Hives must be marked with the identification number of the property, according to an internal regulation by MAFRD (regarding this, farmers will be announced at the time of application).

For direct payments for 2014 livestock (cows, buffaloes, sheep and diary goats in active production, honeybees and breeding sows).
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development this year will continue to support the livestock sector through direct payments. The level of support will be:
• Direct payments – Dairy Cows and Buffaloes and € 50 / per head
• Direct payments – Sheep and diary Goats 10 € / per head
• Direct payments – Breeding Sows 20 € / per head
• Direct payments – Bees 10 € / Collective Bees (hives)
