Farmers who apply must meet the following conditions:
• Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kosova;
• Have at least 0.50 planted acres of land with vegetables in open field;
• Plots planted with vegetables in open field should be a minimum of 0.20 ha;
• Land area rented should be contracted for at least one year (contracts must be entered into and signed between the two parties – the lessor and lessee);
• Area of renting should be a minimum of 0.20 ha.
Documentation needed for application:
• Copy of the Identity Card of the Republic of Kosova;
• Confirmation from the bank for the bank account of the applicant;
• A copy of business registration certificate for legal persons;
• Evidence from the cadaster on the surface of the useful land owned or a copy of the contract that proves the availability of agricultural land;
• Proof of payment of property tax;
• Contract for agricultural land surface rented, which must be bound and signed between the two parties – the lessor and lessee.

Period of application:
Application lasts 30 calendar days and begins from the moment the call for applications. Application is made to the offices of the Municipal Departments of Agriculture through the sLPIS program.
Method of application:
• All farmers initially during the application are required to complete the form for registration in the Registry of farmers, which is a prerequisite for gaining support.
•During the control procedure, in case of finding violations will apply punitive measures, based on the Administrative Instruction of MAFRD Nr.02/2014 for Direct Payments in Agriculture for the year 2014.
Clarification:
• Documentation for the application should be submitted in duplicate and within the application period. Submission of documents after the published deadline will not be accepted for review.
• After some vegetable crops that will be subsidized (late cabbage, cauliflower, cucumber – cornichon, late and spinach salad) are planted and cultivated in the second half of the year, therefore control in the field by Agriculture Development inspectors for these five vegetable crops will be realized in the second half of the year. However, the application of the farmers should be made now for these five vegetable crops.
• Realization of payments to subsidy beneficiary farmers will be made with a maximum of three (3) installments.
Direct Payment for vegetables in the open field for the year 2014
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development this year will support the vegetable sector through direct payments per unit of area (hectares) planted with vegetables in open field. The level of support will be:
