14th Anniversary of Junik Liberation marks the end of a very long era of our efforts for freedom and building state of the country. Martyrs and all those who contributed in various ways to liberation, were the owners of the idea of the state and their desire for freedom. They had owned their sacrifice to liberate this land and to build this country. For all their sacrifice, we remain the responsibility to building democratic institutions and strengthen the ongoing building of independent state of Kosova. So said, Vice President of this municipality, Mr. Nimon Tofaj, on the 14th anniversary of the liberation of the municipality. And this anniversary found Junik with enough changes and improvements to public infrastructure for the life of residents, through performing and starting various projects in this municipality. The morning of June 13, found Junik in the 14th year of its liberation. On this important day for our country, especially for the municipality as festive activities began on 12 June, a concert was organized in the Center of Junik, under the patronage of the Mayor, Mr. Agron Kuçi. Activities have continued to June 13. Initially homages and tributes were paid at the monolith and cemeteries, and the fallen martyrs for freedom of the country.
