The Mayor in his speech expressed thanks and gratefulness to the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Government of the Republic of Kosova for the continuous support and the implementation of various projects for the municipality, hoping that in the future will continue the mutual cooperation. Construction and paving of this road has a special significance because it can connect regional routes; Junik-Voksh-Deçan and Junik-Rastavicë and also serves as a transit route. Also, the Mayor, Mr. Agron Kuçi has congratulated the residents who will now have better opportunities for living. Our goal has been and continues to be the construction of infrastructure in the territory of Municipality and we have done and are doing it consistently, said Mr. Kuçi.
While Fehmi Mujota-Minister of Infrastructure in the Government of the Republic of Kosova has thanked Mayor Kuçi for the very good job and has pledged support for Junik will continue in the future in various projects that will improve the lives of citizens.
Whereas, residents of these neighborhoods, expressed their gratefulness to the Municipal Government and the Ministry of Infrastructure for this project. Junik Municipality Mayor Mr. Agron Kuçi, along with the Minister of Infrastructure Mr. Fehmi Mujota and the chairperson of Parliament of the Republic of Kosova, Ms. Safete Hadergjonaj, made inauguration of the road Gaxherr-Bajraktar in the presence of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Besim Beqaj, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Kosova, his fellow staff and citizens. This road about 3km in length and 5.5m width is built with investment of Junik Municipality and the Ministry of Infrastructure and reaches the value of 250.000.00 Euros. The road is built according to European standards.
