Once the oath was done of the members of Parliament, the oath has made the Mayor Mr. Agron Kuçi saying "I, Agron Kuçi, swear that I will perform the duties and exercise powers as Mayor of Junik, with honor, loyalty, so impartial, conscientiously and in accordance with the law, in order to ensure conditions for a peaceful life for all ". After giving the oath, Mayor Mr. Agron Kuçi has held an opening speech by pointing out targets during his term of the governance for the next four years. Dear Assembly members of the newly sworn, congratulations, success and good luck in your new job. Enjoy it with good work for the benefit of citizens and the country. Distinguished guests, citizens of the Municipality, the media, representatives of law and order sector, all you present:
Allow me to greet you warmly for your presence on occasion of the establishment of the new Municipal Assembly.
After an important democratic process and the country’s political and decision on the future prospects and the lives of Junik citizens and the Municipality, as on December 1 there were no defeated and winners, because citizens and vision for the future of Junik won. Junik and citizens themselves gave the example of wisdom and true democracy, reflecting, culture, dignity and human and civil uncontested values.
Simply we have reflected positivity and clear vision for the present and our future.

On December 1, our historic Junik won, Junik of our new century, Junik of historical and cultural specific values, and today’s modern Junik.
During our journey together, dear fellow citizens we passed through numerous challenges but always have overcome them honestly and successfully, making Junik synonymous of success of Municipalities in Kosova, and of course this tradition of success is very rich national and cultural heritage of Junik inhabitants built during centuries.
Our joint achievements were not small, rather they are numerous and we walk everywhere and see they are vulnerable and in service to all. We worked and invested in every segment of public life such as: education, health, infrastructure, urban planning, public services, culture, heritage, youth, sport, tourism, agriculture, administration and many other segments.
During our journey together, dear fellow citizens we passed through numerous challenges but always have overcome them honestly and successfully, making Junik synonymous of success of Municipalities in Kosova, and of course this tradition of success is very rich national and cultural heritage of Junik inhabitants built during centuries.

After continuous efforts in search and implementation of our governing development objectives, we started the opening of the road Junik-Gjeravicë, with a length of 20 km and that continues successfully to this day. We will continue this project faithfully, because it is a perspective project and the future of our citizens and Municipality.
In a word, thanks to our work together, Junik today has a completely new view. We express our readiness today for new political mobilization to give our program a spirit and opening the way to economic development to make life even better for Junik inhabitants.
Today when once again I’ve got your confidence to lead with Junik in the next four-year term, promise that I will work with utmost dedication and honor that this new story of Junik continue its momentum in service of the future for all of us also for the generations that will come after us.

After Mayor’s the speech, Alliance for the Future of Kosova has proposed for the Municipal Assembly Chairman, Mr. Faik Tofaj. There were no other proposals, so with 9 votes pro and 6 abstentions, Mr. Faik Tofaj was elected the Chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Junik, for the next four years legislature.
In his speech, after receiving the confidence vote, Mr.Faik Tofaj thanked everyone for their trust and has promised to cooperate with everyone, regardless of party, only for the good of people and country.
Under the chairmanship of Mr. Nevruz Krasniqi, as the oldest member of the Municipal Assemblyof Junik, today held the inaugural meeting of the Municipal Assembly, in which case the oath is made by members of Parliament and Chairman Mr. Agron Kuçi and elected was the Chairperson of the Municipal Assembly. Chairman Mr. Nevruz Krasniqi said that the inaugural meeting agenda is determined by time and the same agenda that is unique for all Municipalities of the Republic of Kosova.
