On this occasion Mayor Kuçi with his associates, families of the fallen and numerous citizens today paid homage at the martyr’s statue and tomb of Edmond Hoxha in Junik and Gllogjan in this 17th anniversary of his fall on the altar of freedom, placing bouquets of fresh flowers and remembering with piety the sublime life of the martyr.
Mayor Kuçi with his associates also participated in the organized Academy by the Office of the Prime Minister in Prishtina, in honor of the life and deed of these martyrs.
January continues to be a month of great events, bound by activities and patriotic activities of the patriots that exactly at this month fell on the altar of freedom.
January 31 of the Year 1997 marked a special day for Kosova, where in the village of Pestova,Vushtri, in an ambush fell on the altar of freedom three men and worthy fighters such as; Edmond Hoxha, Zahir Pajaziti and Hakif Zejnullahu.
