HOW TO MAKE A PLAN FOR PROTECTION OF FRUIT TREES FROM DISEASES AND PESTS

Today we encounter different terms as conventional agricultural production, integrated protection, bio or eco productivity etc…
All requirements are to achieve much higher outputs, but not harming in any way the quality of products and maintaining maximum environment from pollution.
As a secondary solution is considered the integrated protection of the agricultural crops.
This for example, to protect the agricultural crops a number of measures should be taken, ranging from the selection of the most resistant cultivars, undertaking all agri-technical measures in time, the application of mechanical, physical and biological protection measures and finally, if the mentioned measures, there is no adequate protection of agrocultures and whether the presence of diseases or pests exceed the so-called economic threshold, then chemical measures should be applied, meaning, application of different pesticides to protect production.
Understandably in this case, the appropriate pesticides should be select while respecting strict dose and their stance. In short, the goal is to use as little as possible chemical tools for crop protection. Today there are also organic pesticides that are less harmful to health and the environment that surrounds us, which must be given priority to their use.  Should not be attempted that the disease or pests, by any means, eliminate them completely, but keep them within permissible limits, meaning within the economic threshold.
What should be taken into account to design a plan for the protection of fruit trees.
There are many factors that affect the design plan for the protection of fruit trees. Among them we can mention: the type of fruit tree, cultivar, under the graft, geographic location where the trees are grown, soil type, season of the year, the age of the trees, weather conditions, presence of pests and diseases in the previous year, agricultural and popo technical measures undertaken, recognizing the development biology of pests or diseases, physiological stages of plant development etc…
Each of these factors has its influence in drafting the defense plan. I will mention an example of how one of these factors affects the appearance of diseases or pests. Example, the apple maggot (Venturia Inaequalis), definitely two conditions must be met: the presence of moisture and temperature. At a temperature of 10 °C, for infection to occurred, the leaf must be wet minimum 14 hours.  In this case the fungicide intervention should be undertaken before the expiry of 14 hours in order to prevent the infection, etc…
The advice for orchardman beginners is that aspect of the protection of fruit trees be planned with the help of agricultural experts, with best experts for fruit tree protection.  Also it is best to consult the literature since there is plenty, where you can find guiding plans for protecting agricultural crops, fruit trees.  Those instructions are given by all manufacturers of pesticides such as: Singenta, Bayer, Galenika etc...

Definitely read before use of pesticides and follow the instructions, etc…

Respected orchardman, especially those who are beginners in this branch of agricultural production. The issue of agricultural protection in general, today is one of the main concerns of the experts in this field, and also farmers itself.
On the one hand it is required to have high productivity and quality, without the presence of pesticide residues in fruits and protecting the environment from pollution. On the other hand each day, appear diseases and most harmful different pests that threaten damage to the whole production.
